I work across science, technology, and policy to help translate research into real-world impact. My research focuses on open-source communities, civic technology, and the policy frameworks that support open innovation and research-to-practice.

By day, I am a Senior Legislative Research Assistant at Lewis-Burke Associates, where I work on emerging technology policy across industries, with a focus on national security. My work connects federal research and investment with the practical applications of new technologies.

I also lead and contribute to technology and policy communities. I serve as Executive Director of Civic Tech DC; I help support a community of technologists building open-source tools for the public good. I am also the Editorial Committee Lead and Senior Fellow at the Internet Law and Policy Foundry, a fellowship for young technology professionals, and Engagement Lead at CIB Mango Tree, an open-source initiative developing tools to detect coordinated inauthentic behavior.

Outside of tech, my family and I run an organic farm for young adults with disabilities.

I graduated from Smith College in 2024 with dual degrees in Environmental Science & Policy and Computer Science. Previous experience includes work with the White House, NOAA, the United Nations, and the Senate.
