Building
My work is primarily driven by two spaces: civic tech and the research-to-impact pipeline.
I enjoy supporting the early, impactful work of design thinking, ideation, and problem-solving that often needs to happen before projects scale.
This page also serves as my Now Page or “a public declaration of current priorities” inspired by the
Now Movement.
As Kurt Vonnegut put it, the point isn't just the end, but "to experience becoming, to find out what's inside you, to make your soul grow."
Communities I Help Run
Supporting the DC group of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world's largest computing society, dedicated to advancing computing topics like applied machine learning, open data, and data visualization.
Bringing together civic hackers to collaborate with local organizations and nonprofits on tech projects by hosting biweekly project nights and special events for the Washington, DC community.
Advancing strategic vision, community outreach, and project management for CIB Mango Tree, an open-source initiative to develop software that tests for coordinated inauthentic behavior (CIB) in datasets of online activity.
