About
I am an interdisciplinary designer, defined by my versatility at the intersection of emerging, deep technology and strategic design.
I explore both the structural dimensions, focusing on the security and
stability of emerging technology, and the social dimensions, analyzing how digital growth influences governance and interconnected networks.
By day, I am a Legislative Research Assistant at
Lewis-Burke Associates, a leading consulting and lobbying firm, where my portfolio focuses on the nexus of emerging technology across industries,
including national security and the environment.
In parallel, I am engaged in various technology initiatives, including conducting
independent research on human computer interaction. I serve as co-Director and Board Member for
Civic Tech DC, a vibrant group of technologists collaborating with local organizations on tech projects. I am also a Fellow for
Internet Law and Foundry and the Engagement Lead for
WCAPS Fellowship Program, an open-source initiative building tools to detect coordinated inauthentic behavior.
Outside of tech, my family and I run an organic farm for young adults with disabilities. As an Advisory Board Member for the environmental nonprofit
Alliance for Sustainability, I help build strategic partnerships and drive impactful initiatives.
Believing that the ability to tell one's story is their greatest asset, I consinually refine my own by staying curious and open to new opportunities.
